I Love to Move
Free Children's Recreation Program
I Love to Move is a free recreation program for children between the ages of 6 to 13, teaching recreation and getting youth active. We work in partnership with the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program and volunteers to make this program a success. We host these fun interactive programs throughout the year to instill the importance of staying active and promote a healthy lifestyle.
We are pleased to share that we have been selected by Canadian Tire Jumpstart in October 2020 to receive another grant from their Sport Relief Fund. The fund helps community sport organizations like ours continue to provide access to sport and play for Canadian kids. This grant will go a long way towards helping us to safely deliver a free recreation program to all children in our community who have been isolated due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
"The greatest reward is seeing the excitement on the children's faces when they are participating in activities,
seeing their peers, being actively involved in leadership roles and having fun while being physically active. My son Mason also attends the program and has met many new friends and looks forward to attending every week.
I have seen a lot of progress with the children in regards to respecting one another as well as the leaders involved. Children who were not originally volunteering for tasks have gained confidence and are now outgoing and eager to participate.
The "I Love to Move" program really is making a difference in these children's lives. I couldn't be happier to be a part of such a great group and organization."
Thanks so much to all our friends and contributors

Thank you to both the ADSB and HSCDSB for the use of their schools as a safe place to learn and move. Offering our program at both Queen Elizabeth & Holy Family, enabled us to reach youth from the East to the West of our community.
