Fr. Hamish Currie, born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Alexander Carter April 25, 1980. Pastor of Precious Blood Cathedral, Fr. Hamish has served in various parishes throughout the Diocese, and has served as the President of the National Federation of Priests Council and serves on the Board of Directors of Algoma Regional Community Hospice (ARCH).   Leisurely pursuits include playing violin in the Sault Symphony and Pottery.
